"Reggie" was my little buddy, best friend and soulmate. He was in the top five Tervueren each of the five years he was shown. He is the winner of 143 Best of Breeds and 84 group placements. (29 Group 1's) He is a three time winner of the Purina Invitational Dog Show and was the breed winner at Westminster KC in 1992.

Reggie enjoyed a long productive show career with his crowning glory coming in 1993 when he won the ABTC National Specialty in San Mateo, California and followed a month later with an all breed Best In Show. He exceeded all my dreams and as I look back I sometimes feel I need to ask myself, "Was it not real"?

On November 13th, 1998, Reggie was found to have cancer of the liver and spleen. I was told I might expect to have him for a few more days to several weeks but that was not to be. The next day he collapsed and was given rest in my arms. I believe the greatest gift Reggie left for me is his seven children and 15 wonderful grandchildren. Seven of them from my first litter, he lived long enough to see and help raise.
Reggie, you took me on a ride I will never forget. Wait for me, for we will meet again!
