This girl has quite a story to tell. Here it is told by the breeder:

"In Norway the female puppy was sold at 9 weeks of age to some people who seemed to be nice. They named her Lissie. 9 days afterwards, I took her back with a broken left front leg. I was notified that she had a broken leg, but I was not allowed to come along to the vet, they were not interested in paying for the dog, the vet cost or anything else. They were talking about this being considerate costs, and that the dog might had to be put down instead. These facts made it very easy for me to go get her! The little girl looked so sad wearing a bandage, but greeted me by giving me a kiss on the nose. I took her to my own vet on the way back home, and from the x-rays the vet could tell a little story about the dog most probably getting help to fall down from that veranda...
The little girl was given a new name; "Bizzy".

"Bizzy had to wear a cast for 4 weeks and then she had a week in a bandage. During that period there was not a single complaint from her. Not even when bending and re-breaking the leg with the vet, never when running wild with the cast banging into things. Bizzy was sold to the East of Norway at the age of 4 months old. Her new owners loved her dearly, but then they got a family problem that made them unable to keep a dog. Bizzy was then 7 months old, and there was no doubt at all about taking her back although the owners wanted her to stay in the East of Norway so they could visit her. A few days after I got the message that they couldn't have her, I talked to Tim and he said, "Send her over, we will take her!" I didn't even get a chance on checking up if anyone wanted her in my area, before it was all settled with Tim. He already had Bizzy's litter mate , Taylor, who he was very satisfied with. I hadn't seen Bizzy in 3 months and had the owners words only for what she was like."

"Bizzy is the happiest girl in the world, and it is kind of funny watching her chasing the great Decker out of the guest bedroom! I hear people are bragging about Taylor's temperament, but Bizzy in my opinion is as good or even better."

As Bizzy's breeder said she had a broken leg at ten weeks of age. In fact both bones in the leg were broken. The leg is fine now but does show there was an injury. For this reason we will probably not show Bizzy in the breed ring but this will have no effect on breeding her. She is sound in mind and body and we hope in breeding her in the future we will reproduce her wonderful head and incredible temperament.
