It is hard for us to believe that our lady Portia turned eight this past summer. From the moment she arrived to become a part of our home, she has been a complete joy and welcome presence. We look back fondly to our fuzzy puppy days. Portia is a very important part of our family and is "one of the kids". She loves being with children and loves to be in the thick of whatever it is they're doing. She is patient to lie while Lego's are being built all around her, and careful not to step on a one. One of her favorite games is to play hide-and-seek with our daughter Emily. She loves to find Emily and win the game! She also loves to "party" with her "friends" (Penuche and Po) with a daily "chew". She is always ready to give new things a try, and thrives on approval and trust. She enjoyed obedience and herding, but is always my pal first. She is always by my side and under my feet. Everyone who meets Portia not only remarks about her physical beauty, but that of her temperament and wonderful disposition - many have wanted to take her home with them! Her appearance and grace add to her fluid movement and sound structure. She is a happy girl that smiles every day. She earned special awards and recognition as a young pup, and achieved her championship in short order. She enjoys always enjoys being the "pretty girl" and wants to be first to be groomed. We thank Tim for helping us to have such a wonderful first Tervuren and enjoy every day we have with her. wi
