As I prepare to send Tre to live with Tim forever in just a couple of short weeks, I try to imagine what life will be like without him. I know that I'll miss him very much. Of all the Tervs I have had, Tre is the one with the best sense of humor. He is always happy and cheerful, his tail is ALWAYS wagging. One of his favorite tricks is to run and jump in the bathtub when told to go to his crate. Then he stands there grinning, and wagging his tail. He knows that I will laugh, and that he will not get in trouble! Having a bath is one of his favorite things. He loves to chase and bite the water. He has passed this trait on to at least one of his children, his daughter, Cheetah. I will also miss doing agility with him. He is showing a lot of promise in agility, and is a very fun dog to work with, as he loves to do pretty much everything.

I am proud of Tre's accomplishments so far. I think that his greatest strength is as a producer. Tre has sired two litters to date. His first litter, with Tim's Reiny, has three champions at 21 months of age, and three more major pointed puppies. The pups from this litter have won Specialty Best in Sweeps and Best Opposites in Sweeps, as well as breeds from the classes, and many National Specialty class placements and so far one National Specialty SELECT. They are just beginning to compete in performance activities, and are showing great promise there also. The one pup shown to date from his second litter recently finished her championship at 8 months with three majors, and a National Specialty placement. The very best thing about these puppies is their outgoing, stable temperaments. I am looking forward to seeing more Tre kids carry on with these kind of accomplishments in the future.

Of all the people in Tre's life, I believe that Tim loves him the best, and that they are meant to be together. Tim, I hope you enjoy having Tre be your dog. Tre, I will miss you and think of you often, and I hope to be able to visit with you often in the future.
