We had moved to a home with a bigger yard and were interested in a second dog who would run well with our aging Sheltie. A Belgian Tervuren was suggested and we were like everyone else in the beginning, "a what?" We were given third pick from a litter of four males and Kippy came home to live with us. He was the only one to finish his championship and he did it in just seven weeks of showing.
In February 1981, Kippy was not well. For four days he fought for his life. On February 24th, at nineteen months of age, Kippy died. It was probably Parvo.

Cuarri with his outgoing "ever kind" personality was a wonderful ambassador for the breed. He finished his championship easily and then turned his attentions to obedience, an area in which he excelled. A High In Trial winner, he also won The Badger State Obedience Championship in the Open class and placed 8th at the World Series in Detroit. Always accommodating, he welcomed each new puppy into his home and was never aggressive. Late in 1990 Cuarri was found to be suffering from prostate cancer. On December 29, 1990, Cuarri died. He was nine years old.

Megan also finished her championship easily and then turned her attentions to obedience. She was a Dog World Award winner and once scored a half point from a perfect score in Novice. Her fun attitude toward life earned her the nickname "Pisser" at a very young age. She was also often fondly referred to as "Princess". Megan did everything her way!
In May 1996 at age 14, Megan was not well. An exploratory surgery revealed stomach cancer. She was allowed to go and wait at rainbow bridge. I am sure her best friend in life, Cuarri was there waiting for her to show her the way.
