Stu's Story

Stu's Story - It finally came time to make a decision about what to do with Stu, as our cockeral became just a little too "cocky"! Now I know where that term came from.
So, I visited a local farm and was thrilled when they were wonderful enough to take him. It's truley a "chicken paradise" with pumkin patches and corn fields and acres of land. He's now at home with his new flock including pigs, turkeys, goats and a wild deer. We've visited him just to make sure he was ok, as I was sure his cockiness got knocked down a notch or two with the older rooster's.
Funny, the owner says he always is seen hanging out with the black hens. Maybe he feels comfortable with that color being raised right next to the belgian puppy pen!
