Sire: Ch Rolin Ridge's Fourteen Karat (Midas) Dam: Ch Liket's Somthin Special of La Neige (Lindsey) I found Jammer through a referral from Belg-L, and he was shipped to me in California, from Oklahoma, at 5 months old. I was looking for a quiet, couch-potato type of belgian, and that is exactly what I got --and much more! Jammer has many of the belgian traits discussed frequently on Belg-L like the Belgian Wack --getting a big paw 'tap' as a wake-up call in the mornings, and the Belgian-in-a-lap --forebody sitting in your lap since all of it can't fit! My four cats are his favorite 'toys', but fortunately, his prey drive is kept in check and he limits his attacks to chasing and mouthing them. Belgians learn incredibly fast, and Jammer quickly completed 'Advanced' level of obedience ---and this with mostly once-a-week in-class instruction with an owner who doesn't take the time to do much in-home lessons! We intend to refine his learnings, and maybe someday participate in some of the activities like obedience, agility or herding. The two photos are two of Jam's favorite poses -- he hasn't realized yet that he can jump, or maybe he's just being polite, but this is how he joins me on the sofa--or 'sits' in my lap at the computer! Jammer shares his home with shelties and a pug, so he often uses their bed to relax in --even if he doesn't quite fit! Yes, he does have a belgian-size bed, but it's in my bedroom.
