What a fantastic dog! Denali and I couldn't be prouder! This is my best friend and first breed champion. I call him Magic. I got the idea for his name from his incredibe movement; Magic In Motion, as fluid as a fast running stream. When I saw how well he moved I knew agility was where we had to be. So we started training, I was confident, after all I'd trained an agility dog before, and we'd done rather well. Magic was a more gifted athlete, so it should be fairly easy. What I forgot was: he's a much better athlete than I am. It was a shock, but I have to admit, Magic can run faster than I can think. Four years, and lots of shows and trials, ribbons and titles later; and it's Magic who has trained me. I'm a better handler /trainer because of him. But what I lke best about Magic is he's always ready to cuddle. If I just whisper his name he's right beside me, a snuggley companion, and brave protector. This little puppy ran off with my heart the first time I saw her. I've been playing "chase the puppy" ever since and I still haven't gotten my heart back. The first day Denali came home, my two adult male's laid down and said "We're your slaves forever" It's amazing how powerful a confident little girl can be. Denali is the most charming and outgoing Belgian I've ever seen. She hasn't met a stranger yet, and her goal is to meet everyone. Her favorite hobby is caring for her "stuffed squeaky toy" puppies. She carries them everywhere, and is very gentle in how she handles them. I'm finding it's next to impossible to get a picture of her without a stuffed toy in her mouth. Denali's great attitude has let us start training for obedience and agility. I've never had a dog that tried so hard. She wants to understand, and she wants to get it right. She'll even work if I've left the treats at home!
