Pasha

Pasha
Pasha was born at Torbrook Kennels in Darwell, Alberta to Sylvia and
Bob Banks on November 28, 1998. Her Sire is a Sable coated Belgian
named "Vici" and her Dam "Annie" is a Groenendael. Pasha is jet-black,
without a trace of any white. She has an incredibly thick and long coat
for a female which was inherited from her handsome father. She is
incredibly intuitive and knew her name within hours of our taking her
into our family.
Despite these baby pictures (8 weeks and 10 weeks), Pasha has grown to 7
months old. She now lives on a farm where she enjoys hours of
snowmobiling and motor biking. She is agile, fast and in incredible
shape. She runs daily with our family in the fields and has been
clocked beside the ATV at 45 km/hr. She has learnt from her mentor
"Buster Brown" the art of retrieving sticks, balls and game. She is
gentle yet extremely protective of our two small sons when strangers
come to the farm.
We acquired Pasha after months of research into the "perfect farm-family
dog": gentle, trainable, trustworthy and protective. This visually
stunning little dog has surpassed every wonderful word that we have ever
heard about the Belgian Sheepdog. We have a gem and are so proud she is
part of our family. Soon we will begin her training in basic herding to
help us around the farm. Most of the skills will be achieved by working
beside Buster Brown, our 6 year old German Shepherd/ Black Lab cross.
He is an incredibly patient teacher and enjoys sharing his knowledge and
skill with his young pupil.
More pictures to follow as she grows!!
