Clac was born the 12th
of May 1994 in Paulhac very close to Toulouse in southern France. Mario,
his breeder, did the litter for me. Being of pure working lines (french
ring), he would be my first real working Belgian ever - after some 20 years
with the breed. Clac, or J'Clac du Musher, was a nice little bastard who
lifted his hind leg for the first time at three months old, and who did
not stop being active and full of fun and fight. Clac and I spent a lot
of time traveling through France, so my car became "our home";
we were always going places. The "brevet", the acceptance test
into the french ring was obtained with 94.5 of 100 points last January,
and we started preparing for Ring 1. This was to happen at the French Specialty
show this year, but.. Clac had what you would call a brain stroke on August
10th, 1996, in the evening. He left us all, to go back "home"
the next morning in the vet's parking lot. We would like to think that he
recognized "our home", the car, and just let go. Anyway, Muzzo
will arrive very soon to fill another part of our hearts, and to take a
big chunk of time. |
