Lafitte De Mont Cenis (ptd) X Demena's Foxy of Indian Acres (ptd)
OFA Good Cerf Normal at age 8
Dancer came into my life as a totally wild 10 month old kennel dog, a
"sort-of Rescue", a gift from Violette Wilson (De Mont-Cenis Tervuren).
Dancer finished his AKC championship easily with 4 majors and was only
defeated 1 time in competition. As a totally untrained 10 month old, he
went over a multi-group-placing special to go BOB at back to back shows
for his first two majors! Dancer was never "specialed" because he is small,
23 inches, and because as he grew older his bottom incisors dropped.
At age 8 Dancer is still King of My Heart. He is a survivor (1 year) of
testicular cancer. He loves to work and show off. He is the "official"
petting dog at many Brevard Kennel Club activities and he and I do
educational spots on dog care and dog safety at local elementary schools. A
consummate clown, Dancer finished his CD in typical "slam bam" Terv style.
A tennis ball freak and compulsive retriever, he would have his CDX if I
were a better trainer. I love this boy so much and look forward to many
more years with him.
In the sitting picture, he is 4 feet of the ground in an oak tree, in his
guise as "Belgian Tree Wolf" in pursuit of his favorite prey, the wild
Tennis Ball.
