We have so enjoyed visiting your site. Tonya recommended that we visit so we could see Jammer's sire. We are fostering Jammer until his wonderful mistress regains her health. Jammer is an elegant dog and we have fallen totally in love with him. He favors his father so much....when viewing your tribute to Midas, I felt I was looking at pictures of Jammer. We are honored to have a part in Tonya's life and Jammer's. He has a wonderful disposition and I love his smiles and kisses. Thank you for sharing your site with all! Linda Your dogs are beautiful. I talked to you once about a puppy..but there was nothing available..I only want a pet quality. I had my Jazz(Klee) for 13 yrs and my Travis(Tervuren..sorta) for 12 years. Now my husband has an English setter and...sorry, no comparison for intelligence, loyalty and gee, I even miss the black dog hair.If you ever get a pet quality(and I prefer Groen.)please let me know, and I will give you references and pictures of our land (17acres)and fencing. Again, your dogs are beautiful-makes me miss them more Maryann, 540-822-4257.

But I bet the design engineer's dad makes a great margarita, and I bet some days your husband comes home with a big goofy smile on his face and the cooler smells like fish :) , but best of all you have captured the unique beauty, grace and sheer joy that a Belgian can share. I just love your site. Every time I visit there's something new. The pics are a gas! Hoping to come and visit you soon. I'm in Virginia too! The Rainbow Bridge poem made me sniffle. Here's why...

Corky (1972-1988) was my forever dog. Rescued sight unseen from a doomed litter by my Dad, that little ball of black fur was placed in my arms, and it was love at first sight! There was no doubt she was all mine! I spent the first few nights on the bathroom floor with her asleep on my chest. From the age of 10 on, I was never alone again. She was by my side through cheers and tears. My first trip away from home, I had to "talk to her on the phone" to get her to leave the door I'd exited and eat, which she did immediately after "talking to me" and kissing the phone, according to my frantic Mom! I've never gotten a warm fuzzy hug as comforting as the ones Corky gave me. There wasn't anything she wouldn't or couldn't do well. To this day I haven't figured out how she knew which presents under the Christmas tree were hers (when Carmel and Cimarron were getting the same thing), but she never erred! All I can say is, guess she could read too! She passed away in the same place she arrived, my arms. I'll love her always and miss her, even now. I hope her and Dad are together in heaven. I've had other pets and herding dogs all my life, but none will ever have the place in my heart reserved for Corky.

Please give your fuzzies some hugs from me.

Peace and Tail Wags, Colleen "Collie" Williams colliehope@yahoo.com

Hello,

My name is Bernie Crimmins and my wife and I are blessed with two of the greatest Siberian Huskies imaginable (as I speak in gloating pappa terms). One of which we acquired from a Rescue. I have been looking for Belgian sheep dog rescue information. I am curently working on an EPA Air monitoring site in North East Baltimore (East Lake Clifton High School). There is a stray wandering the school school grounds/adjacent golf course. After searching through the AKC breed directory I found that he was the spitting image of the Belgian Sheep Dog. After searching th web for nearby rescues I was unable to find anything. Would you happen to know of any local recues that may have room for him? He is tenative but generally curious, and playful. I am unable to get too close to him, for he runs to a safe distance. I am sure he was probable mistreated and then someone let him go in the park to fend for himself (people can be idiots). This park is smack dab in the middle of some of poorer places in Baltimore and I fear his days may be numbered (traffic and such) if left their too long. Any information you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely, Bernie Crimmins (301) 856-7736 bernardcrim@yahoo.com crimmins@cbl.umes.edu

This is a lovely website! I have enjoyed the photographs and the reading material. The photographs have brought back many wonderful memories of the most beautiful and very much loved dog that I had been given the pleasure to live. We shared over 11 years together, and while she was not a pure bred Belgian Sheepdog, she did posses many of their outstanding qualities and I miss her terribly. Viewing your photographs had me crying and laughing and now 3 years after my loss, I am finding myself considering the possiblity of aquiring another dog. Thank you for allowing me to reminiscence.

Hello ! Very interesting page about how you do insemination over with you. I was a bit shocked I have to say, since I ahve used insemination with frozen semen a lot of times myselv, but the bitch is not operated, but it is put in the "right way" from behind. The result is very good, we have had 9 puppies several times (malinois and groenendael).

I have a half-sister to some of your dogs, her name is N.UCh.Bente Kim v. Lanas Hof (Jarl Wendy x Kim). She produces nice puppies that do well in show.

I also have a Buddy-son for sale if someone reading this could be interested. He have one norwegian CC, BOB and 2. best in group so far (his first show !). He is 3 years old and have excellent hips and elbows. I can check eyes if there is interest for him. My website is: http://nangijala.norge.cc

Best of luck with your puppies and the future from Norway ! Emte Jahnsen, Kennel Nangijala: groenendael, malinois and tervueren

My parents own your Wynter Obsidian (Obie) and Boogie Blues? (Jazz)...what gorgeous, wonderful, intelligent boys they both are. I like your website and just wanted to let you know that your dogs are absolutely wonderful!

Hi Linda. I was looking for photos of Kipling but I can't find him. Well, I try another day. Good luck with your new boy.

Visiting your site has helped a bit to fill the empty space in my heart left from the loss this week of our beautiful, most loving and sweet Belgian, "Lucky". who graced our lives for 12 years. The offspring of two Loup Noir Belgians, he shared ancestry with many of your dogs (his grandfather was Celte de la Pouroffe.) Much as I loved Lucky, I've always thought that Midas was the most stunning Belgian I'd ever seen. Looking through his photos, and those of your other lovely dogs, has been comforting. I appreciate all the effort you put into the site that afforded me this opportunity. Thank you.

A coworker and friend shared your site with me and I just had to let you know that I feel it is absolutely awesome! I've never even heard of this breed of dog. They are beautiful and naturally, I now want one. I tremendously enjoyed visiting the site and will tell others about it.

Thank you.

I thought I'd check out your site and your puppies after talking to you last night on the phone. Pups are beautiful. I looked at your puppy manual as well--I think I could do what you recommend for working owners. If you find another home for Kali, keep me in mind for a puppy or a future rehome. thanks. Dear Ms. McCarty,

We have just read your ebooklet on Belgian Sheepdogs and want to thank you for taking the time to publish this. We are adopting a Tervuren puppy next month and reading and learning all we can in anticipation of this happy event. Your information is succinct and very helpful. Maybe in two or three years we will be ready to add a little Groenendael baby to our family and we can contact you.

I was finally able to get onto your website! For some reason I had trouble. But it was worth the wait. Thanks for all your useful information and pictures of your beautiful dogs. We have a Terv and are waiting for our first Groenendael. Anne, Michigan

Great web site. I was cruising around looking at sheepdogs and found your site. I live in Northern VA and will hopefully be looking for a dog within a year. Trouble being she has 4 cats that she thinks a dog will eat. Would love to visit your place one weekend in the spring. Jeff Christy jeffreychristy@comcast.net
