Jill asked me to put a few words together to express my thoughts and observations on Honey...

"Honey" it just fits her perfectly! She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Now that doesn't mean she isn't full of it, which she is! She's kept me on my toes and outsmarted me on quite a few instances. She is one smart cookie, always with a sparkle in her eye with a bit of mischievous twinkle mixed in.

Her tail never stops wagging while she tries to engage Jack, I, or one of the other dogs in one of her many games. When people come to visit she is always the first one to bark very LOUDLY with all her hair up looking like she could really do some damage, but once they get in the door she nearly knocks them down, smiling, wagging that tail and trying to give kisses!

She has what I like, lots of substance and bone, moves beautifully, has a deep scissors bite with full dentition, nice tight cat feet, wonderful expression, LOTS of coat, and the sweetest personality in the world!!

We started her conformation career with a bang. Her first weekend out at 6 months old she received her first major and lots of positive wonderful comments from the judges. Second weekend out she brought home her second major. Then we decided to take a break for her to grow up some and then of coarse grow more coat. Honey learns quickly, and is very intuitive.

It's been a wonderful dance so far and I'm looking forward to all our future dances not only in conformation but in the many performance avenues available to us...submitted by Patty
